We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Telemarketing Manager with proven telecommunications telemarketing experience to lead, develop, and grow our telemarketing team. If you're passionate about performance, people, and process — we'd love to hear from you.
Role Overview:
As Telemarketing Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic leadership of our telemarketing team. Your mission is to ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality leads and appointments that drive revenue for the business. You will also be accountable for hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching team members, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and motivation to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Leadership
* Manage a team of telemarketers, driving performance against daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
* Hold regular team meetings and 1:1 performance reviews.
* Foster a positive, energetic, and high-performing team culture.
* Handle workforce planning including shift scheduling, workload allocation, and resource cover.
Performance & Target Management
* Ensure the team consistently hits call volumes, lead generation, and appointment-setting targets.
* Use performance data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and development areas.
* Implement coaching and corrective action plans when targets are not being met.
Training, Onboarding & Development
* Design and deliver structured onboarding and induction programmes for new starters.
* Provide ongoing training and development, including product knowledge, objection handling, and soft skills.
* Keep training materials up-to-date with evolving business needs.
Process & Quality Control
* Monitor and evaluate call quality through regular call listening and QA reviews.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
* Maintain compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, TPS).
Reporting & Analysis
* Track key performance metrics including call volume, conversion rates, lead quality, and ROI.
* Prepare regular reports for senior management with insights and recommendations.
* Use CRM and dialler data to inform performance analysis and team direction.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience working within the telecommunications sector is essential — minimum as a telemarketer, ideally as a Telemarketing Manager.
* 3+ years' experience managing a telemarketing or telesales team in a B2B environment
* Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales-related targets
* Experience training staff and improving underperformers
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
* Commercial awareness and ability to understand the customer journey
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills
* Proficiency with CRM systems and telephony software
