Overview

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Dental Officer to join our Community NHS Trust team, providing high-quality dental care within secure environments. You will deliver dental services based at HMP Rochester and HMP Swaleside, Sheerness, but you may at times need to attend other sites, caring for patients detained in His Majesty’s Prison establishments. This role offers variety, professional challenge, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a highly supportive setting.


Responsibilities

* Provide dental care for patients currently being detained by Her Majesty at HMP sites across Kent.
* Involve patients in their care and treatment. Offer information, support and motivation to patients regarding oral health, diet and smoking.
* Monitor the application of clinical governance practice including dental nurse standards, infection control and cross infection.

Additional Working Pattern: 08.30 - 17.00 Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri.
