Housing Needs Officer (Job Share)
Location: Council Offices – Clitheroe

Pay: Scale 5 (scp 16‑19) £30,518 to £32,061 per annum pro rata
Hours: 18.5 hours per week (All day Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday mornings)
We are looking to appoint a part‑time Housing Needs Officer (HNO). The primary role is to advise and assist households at risk of homelessness, delivering a range of initiatives to prevent homelessness. The post involves making home visits, inspecting properties and interviewing households, and providing daily appointments or telephone advice that requires follow‑up casework.
Key responsibilities include partnership working with housing providers, care and support organisations, the probation service, mental health services and other agencies.
