We are seeking to appoint a progress tutor in Public Services to join our team and support our 16–18-year-old learners in achieving their full potential and progressing to their next steps.
Loughborough College Sport is a highly successful team with over 300 full-time learners, offering a wide range of provision from Level 1 to Level 3.
A relevant degree and vocational experience in an educational setting are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will manage and coach a caseload of learners, working with curriculum staff and other tutors to help learners become independent and successful.
They will deliver inspiring tutorial support, ensuring all students succeed through high-quality and challenging learning experiences.
This role also provides an opportunity to start a career in teaching, with support to acquire a teaching qualification and gain teaching experience.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and work effectively within a large, cross-curricular team. Excellent planning and administrative skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
