Their portfolio includes bespoke housing, high-spec penthouses, high-end hotels, commercial projects and small residential homes on listed/heritage buildings.
Due to continued success and repeat clients, my client is now looking for Project Architects or Experienced Part II Architectural Assistants with listed building/heritage experience.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Work on a variety of high-end residential mews properties, town houses and one-off apartments/penthouses, plus large apartment buildings and mixed-use schemes ranging from £1m to £40m in construction value
2. Work on projects throughout all RIBA stages
3. Prepare and develop drawings, models and images, and other documents related to design
4. Work within a small project team
5. Use Revit / AutoCAD on a daily basis
6. Supervise more junior team members
7. Report to Seniors and Directors.
Required Skills & Experience
8. Qualified as an Architect or Part II with a few years of experience
9. Be confident in delivering projects
10. Experience working on projects in a UK practice
11. Excellent graphic skills and 3D design ability – using InDesign, Photoshop and SketchUp, and other rendering software
12. Experience working on bespoke high-end properties, mews houses, apartments/hospitality/heritage projects is essential
13. Able to demonstrate work that is all yours in a well-presented portfolio
14. Strong design skills
15. Ideally, you will have worked in a small to medium-sized practice specialising in bespoke projects
16. Care and attention to detail involved in delivering the scheme or work packages
17. Ideally have experience working through all RIBA stages of a small, beautifully crafted project within high-end residential
18. A proficient user of AutoCAD, and must have used on live projects within the UK
19. Revit is highly desirable
20. Be presentable and confident with both client and contractor-facing responsibilities
21. Excellent English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK.
