Events Assistant
We are working with a leading charitable organisation, based in the City, who are looking for someone to join their Events/Fellowship team providing all-round support for their events. This is an 18 month contract where you will also complete a company-sponsored apprenticeship and gain a Level 3 Events Assistants Qualification.
Our client is seeking someone keen to start a career in events and will be happy supporting a range of events, from small lunches to formal dinners and large receptions.
On a day-to-day basis youll be involved with:
Supporting event logistics
Liaising with suppliers
Preparing event materials
Updating guest lists and managing RSVPs
Attending events, welcoming guests etc.
Updating Salesforce and the companys CRM systems
Providing all-round administration support to the events and fellowship team.
To be able to qualify for the apprenticeship study you will need at least five GCSEs, including Maths and English, that are Grade 4 and above. Our client is also open to people who hold a degree but unfortunately due to the apprenticeship criteria this cannot be in Event Management.
This is an 18-month contract, starting quickly, offering a salary of £25,250 per annum, along with excellent benefits that include 30 days annual leave and free lunch. Please note you will be required to work from the office full-time standard working hours are 9.30am 5.00pm but you may be required to work outside these hours to attend events (time off in lieu is offered for this).
