Sales Team Leader
Leicester, LE3 100% office based
GBP28,000 - GBP30,000 per annum + performance-based bonuses
Full time, permanent Monday Friday, 9am 5pm
Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking independent technology business, is looking to appoint a Sales Team Leader to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional with at least 2 years experience, who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You ll be working closely with the Directors, receiving ongoing mentorship, while leading and inspiring a small sales team to deliver exceptional results.
This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on sales activity and people leadership you ll lead from the front, drive performance, and contribute directly to business growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead, support and motivate a small team of sales executives to achieve and exceed targets
* Drive performance through clear goal-setting, coaching, and regular performance reviews
* Build and manage your own sales pipeline, leading by example
* Identify training needs and deliver ongoing development to team members
* Monitor and analyse sales metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
* Work with Directors to deliver strategic sales initiatives
* Maintain strong client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities
What we re looking for:
* Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience essential
* Strong understanding of the sales process with the ability to coach others
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
* Ambitious and driven with a desire to grow into a leadership career
* Previous experience mentoring or supporting colleagues is advantageous
