Legal Counsel – In-House Opportunity
Location: Office-based in Manchester (some home-working available)
Salary: £65,000 to £70,000 per year, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Annual Leave: 30 days plus bank holidays

The Role
We are seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel, ideally with 3–4 years’ PQE, to support the General Counsel and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business. This is a broad in-house role offering exposure to a wide range of legal and operational matters in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide legal support across commercial contracts, supplier relationships, and partnership agreements.
* Assist with compliance and regulatory matters, including risk and data protection.
* Act as a liaison with key external service providers.
* Support internal teams on complaints, governance, and occasional litigation.
* Contribute to the development of legal frameworks and internal policies.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified solicitor with a commercial law background, ideally gained in private practice or in-house.
* 3–4 years’ PQE preferred, with experience in regulated or fast-paced sectors advantageous.
* Strong communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
* Comfortable working in a collaborative, high-growth environment.
