This is a very exciting role for an innovative and experienced individual. Reporting to Senior Sales and Customer Services and being part of a friendly team. Proactive are looking for someone who is self-motivated, articulate and customer focused. The main aim of the Customer Services Representative is to provide excellent service and to meet and exceed customers’ requirements as well as achieving sales growth.
Hours of work: Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm
Duties:
1. Develop and manage relationships with existing customers to retain and grow their business
2. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities (with tools and support provided)
3. Promote new product ranges and help customers find the best solutions
4. Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email professionally and promptly
5. Log and resolve customer complaints or issues, escalating where necessary
6. Process orders and update customer records using our bespoke CRM (full training provided)
7. Carry out general administrative tasks to support the sales team
8. Prepare and deliver sales proposals tailored to meet client needs.
9. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities for growth.
10. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that align with sales goals.
Experience & Requirements:
11. Previous experience in a sales role or account management is preferred but not essential. Candidates with strong interpersonal skills may also be considered.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with clients effectively.
13. A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets is advantageous.
14. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
15. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
16. Familiarity with CRM systems is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.
17. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential
