Duties
* Identifies, develops, and builds support and tools to implement a common user experience and brand across the organization’s digital services and data analytics.
* Leads major initiatives, advises on systems and policy proposals, and guides senior leaders using deep expertise in digital services, data analytics, and user centered design practices.
* Develops and updates the program strategy based on input from components, stakeholders, and expertise.
* Plans and executes an iterative strategy to scale the organization from startup to maturity.
* Plans and carries out innovative technology and policy work to deliver digital services and data analytics using knowledge of modern internet technologies and management practices
* Incorporates current development methods and open source practices into the department’s product delivery.
Requirements
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access for the duration of employment.
* Position is subject to random drug testing. Incumbent must pass a drug test.
* The position may require temporary duty (TDY) to various locations up to 25% of the time.
* Must reside within a 50-mile radius of duty location. Incumbent may be subjected to short notice recall.
* Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete counter-intelligence scope polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
* May require uncommon tour of duty hours, working either fixed or rotating shift which may include evening, weekends, and holidays.
* Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
