We are Travis Perkins
What’s it like to be a Health and Safety Business Partner?
At Travis Perkins, safety isn’t just a policy; it’s a core value. We are looking for a pragmatic, high-impact HSE Business Partner to act as a subject matter expert for our branches. You won’t just be monitoring compliance from a desk—you’ll be on the front line, coaching leaders and driving a culture where everyone goes home safe every day.
* Be the Expert: Provide specialist support and advice on all HSE matters, ensuring our leaders have the technical knowledge to lead safely.
* Targeted Support: Identify "higher risk" branches and provide proactive, hands‑on coaching to help them develop and execute safety action plans.
* Data-Driven Insight: Review regional incident and assurance data to provide the Managing Director and HSE Director with quality insights that drive risk reduction.
* Lead Change: Implement national HSE improvement programmes, using your local knowledge to ensure they land effectively with branch teams.
* Investigate & Learn: Manage the Lost Time Incident (LTI) process and lead Incident Review Boards, ensuring "Just Culture" principles are applied and learnings are shared across the Group.
* Compliance & Assurance: Complete all RIDDOR reporting and conduct scheduled behavioural safety reviews to provide Group-level assurance.
* Collaborate: Lead Safety Forums and build strong relationships with Branch Managers to turn feedback into actionable safety projects.
