Whether you’re helping to create a traditional Sunday lunch, presenting our popular afternoon tea, or preparing dishes for themed nights, as our Commis Chef, you’ll deliver food that keeps our customers coming back for more.
With a seasonal menu that combines modern cuisine with classical English charm, the elegant décor and relaxed atmosphere provide a perfect setting for a unique and memorable dining experience.
The Commis Chef will work closely with the team to produce consistently outstanding food during service. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, organizing deliveries, assisting with stock ordering and rotation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting senior team members. Learning and development are key aspects of this role, and you will be a vital part of our small, talented team.
The Ideal Candidate
* Knowledge of food health and hygiene standards
* Experience with stock ordering and food deliveries
* Understanding of stock control procedures
* Skills in preparing vegetables and meats
* Ability to clean and maintain stations
* A positive attitude and tolerant nature
* Flexible approach to duties and shifts
* Ability to work under pressure
