MRP Co-ordinator Location: Bodmin Hours: Full-time, 5 days on-site We are seeking an experienced MRP Co-ordinator to ensure cost-effective planning and stock control of material supplies for our manufacturing and packing operations. This role involves producing time-phased material requirements based on production plans, Bills of Material, lead times, and safety stock, while maximizing material availability within agreed parameters. You will work closely with suppliers, purchasing, operations, planning, NPD, and commercial teams to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage stock reconciliation and resolve discrepancies through root cause analysis. Oversee manual goods issues, stock counts, and audits; maintain accurate documentation. Monitor stock balances, control movements between internal and external locations, and manage invoicing for losses. Maintain and update Access Database, SAP, and Arolink systems for planning and traceability. Translate forecasts and production plans into material requirements; order feedstock, packaging, and equipment cost-effectively. Manage inventory levels, projections, and obsolescence; support NPD impact assessments. Ensure compliance with planning and storage policies to minimize waste. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams; provide accurate forecasts. Champion profit improvement projects and supply chain opportunities. Handle invoice queries and manage abnormal demand during holidays or shutdowns. Create and maintain BOMs, SOPs, and ensure system accuracy for traceability. Coordinate pallet orders, Tesco EPOD, and resolve GRN disputes. Support continuous improvement of MRP processes and system development. Skills & Experience Proven experience in stock control within the food industry. Strong supplier-facing and negotiation skills. Previous MRP, purchasing, or scheduling experience (essential). Knowledge of SAP, Arolink, and advanced Excel skills. Ability to work methodically, manage projects, and understand the financial impact of stock decisions. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
