The role will involve working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse data and deliver insightful solutions to enhance decision making processes and support smooth project delivery.

Here's what the role looks like:
1. The Technical Business Analyst, will work with various teams within the Data and Digital directorate, translating business requirements to deliverable stories by the Data Platform Team.
2. The Technical Business Analyst will run a discovery with each department of Data and Digital and utilising their extensive knowledge of Azure DevOps document the processes and procedures, identifying areas of collaboration and clear hand over points, with suggested areas of improvement if identified.
3. The Technical Business Analyst will assist Data and Digital teams configuring Azure DevOps in line with their agreed processes (including testing).
4. The Technical Business Analyst will work with business teams running workshops to elicit user stories / requirements and subsequently convert those into deliverable items of work.
5. The Technical Business Analyst will support the Data Platforms Manager, with the review of Dev Ops managed by the Data Hub team
6. Working with the Data Platforms Manager, work to align the Data Hub team ways of working, with the agreed approach adopted by the Data Platform Team.
7. You will ensure delivery proceeds in alignment with agreed project management processes, governance and reporting structures, is delivered to a high standard, on time and within agreed budgets.
8. Design approaches within Microsoft DevOps.
9. Develop and enforce DevOps standards, guidelines, and best practices.
10. Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and convert to technical requirements.
11. Document agreed approaches following agreement with the development teams.
12. Configure MS DevOps to align with the agreed practices and principles
Requirements
13. Proficiency in Development Approaches within multidisciplinary teams.
14. Subject Matter Expert on how to configure and utilise DevOps
15. High level understanding of Azure Data Solutions.
16. Ability to elicit complex business requirements and convert to technical requirements.
17. Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
18. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
19. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
20. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
21. Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with other IT professionals and departments.
22. Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and changing business requirements.
