Mechanical Technical Services Manager

Salary: Up to £65,000 + benefits

A well-established building services contractor is seeking a Mechanical Technical Services Manager to oversee mechanical service delivery across a range of commercial environments. This is a key role supporting planned maintenance, technical compliance, and project works, while providing guidance to both internal teams and clients.
The Role
* Lead and support mechanical service teams across commercial sites
* Act as the technical authority for mechanical systems including HVAC, plant rooms, hot and cold water, and heating systems
* Oversee PPM strategies and ensure statutory compliance
* Provide engineering solutions, advise on asset lifecycle plans, and support small works projects
* Conduct site audits, troubleshoot plant issues, and guide remedial actions
* Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of service and communication
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in mechanical building services maintenance
* Experience supervising / leading engineering teams or contractors
* Previously held commercial gas qualifications (ideal but not essential to hold currently)
* Confident in reading technical drawings, diagnosing system faults, and advising on remedial works
* An organised communicator who can balance technical detail with clear advice
