Overview
The Traditional Way Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from tension. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs.
You'll work with a diverse range of clients—supporting recovery, relaxation, and performance through expert treatments. This is a self-employed role, with treatment rooms, equipment, and full booking support provided so you can focus on delivering outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences.
* Deliver tailored treatments, including a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
* Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and in good condition.
* Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide aftercare advice to enhance their experience.
* Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
* Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and service offerings.
Experience
* Minimum 2 years work experience in swedish, remedial / deep tissue massage is required.
* A recognised qualification in massage therapy and professional insurance are essential.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy is required to effectively assess client needs and apply appropriate techniques.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Certification in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage .
* Sports Massage (Level 3 or above) – highly desirable but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and musculoskeletal conditions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in a clinical, spa, or sports-focused environment is desirable.
* Must be self-employed and able to commit to at least 2-3 days per week, including Saturdays.
* Professional, motivated, and client-focused attitude.
