Overview
On behalf of a group of friendly, forward-thinking practices in Plymouth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their well-established primary care team.
The practices are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare to their local communities and are now seeking a motivated and skilled ANP to strengthen their clinical offering. Responsibilities
* Undertake patient assessments, examinations, and diagnostic decision-making
* Prescribe and review medications in accordance with local and national guidelines
* Provide care for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions
* Manage both acute presentations and long-term conditions
* Contribute to the delivery of enhanced services and clinical pathways
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the practices and wider network
* Support health promotion, prevention, and patient education initiatives
* Actively engage in clinical governance, audit, and service development
Essential Requirements
* Registered Nurse with an MSc or equivalent in Advanced Clinical Practice
* Independent prescribing qualification (V300)
* Demonstrable experience in primary care, urgent care, or a similar setting
* Excellent clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
