Position Overview
A twelve-month Fixed-Term position is available within our Cambridge clinic for a veterinary nurse to join our busy and supportive team. This opportunity has arisen due to parental leave cover, commencing late May.
Responsibilities
1. Providing high standards of care for patients and clients.
2. All aspects of vet nursing including in-patient and out-patient care, nurse consults, and assisting vets in all areas including surgery.
3. General clinic administrative tasks.
4. Participation in rostered Saturday mornings.
About You
* Experience in anaesthesia monitoring and medicating of patients.
* Strong admin skills and recording accuracy.
* Knowledge of stock management.
* Hands-on approach to work.
* Ability to work both within a team and independently.
* Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients and provide high customer service.
* Relevant nursing qualification.
* Strong communication and people skills.
