Assistant Headteacher – Achievement and Standards. Start date: January 2026. Salary: L13-L17. Contract: Permanent. Trinity High School is a very special learning community. Due to the retirement of the current post holder, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to support the future success of our wonderful school, in the capacity of Assistant Headteacher Achievement and Standards. This post requires an ambitious, innovative, hardworking individual who is committed to giving our students the confidence and knowledge to reach their highest potential. The Headteacher and the central team at Bordesley Multi Academy Trust are committed to ensuring that you receive leadership development and well-being support.
Responsibilities
* Formulating the vision, aims and objective of the school
* Establishing policies, procedures and processes to enable these priorities, aims and objectives to be achieved
* Leading and managing staff and resources effectively
* Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school's aims and objectives
The Successful Candidate Must
* Lead by example, providing inspiration and motivation
* Have high expectations and deliver high standards and commands credibility
* Communicate the school vision in a compelling manner and assist the Headteacher in the strategic leadership of the school
* Work with the Headteacher to drive school improvement. Contribute to the SEF, SDP and other whole school documentation
* To ensure equal opportunities for staff
Essential Attributes
* A first degree or equivalent
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Recent relevant professional development as a middle leader or above
* Proven track record in leading and managing staff
* Excellent classroom practitioner
* Having integrity and consistently leading by example
* Energetic and enthusiastic
