This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced engineers with a passion for niche engineering solutions to develop innovative engineering solutions, manage projects, and act as a key technical interface between customers, internal engineering teams, and manufacturing functions within a cutting edge, and collaborative engineering environment.
The Job you will do:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer engineers through out their journey with the business.
2. Generate engineering solutions to customer requirements, using CAD to create 3D models and 2D drawings, potentially with the benefits of CFD analysis.
3. Manage allocated projects, including raising purchase orders for materials and equipment, and overseeing prototype builds and testing.
4. Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure a smooth transition into manufacture, ensuring processes meet customer requirements.
