Salary: £40,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:
* Strong experience in Java development including Core Java, Collections, Multi-Threading and Concurrency, OOPS concepts, Exception Handling, JVM Concepts, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), SQL
* Proficient in Python development with expertise in service frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Gunicorn, as well as OOPS concepts, Exception Handling, Data Analysis and data structures, pandas, numpy
* Knowledge in Data Serialization and interaction with data using SQL Alchemy, Redis, S3
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, pressured front office environment
* Solid understanding of software development practices including TDD, SDLC, Containerization, instrumentation, and observability
* Experience in developing, maintaining, and debugging multi-protocol distributed services (REST, MQ, Solace, Kafka)
* Good business knowledge of equity derivatives and risk, with a capability to acquire new knowledge quickly
* Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking skills
* Strong communication skills for conveying complex information and influencing stakeholders
* Familiarity with secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and ensure secure solutions
