A leading distributor is looking for a candidate with proven customer service and/or supply chain/buying admin experience to join their team on a fixed-term basis, with opportunities for permanent employment.
Responsibilities:
1. Placing orders for customers, inputting details into the ERP system, and sending order acknowledgements.
2. Placing orders with suppliers, following up for information, confirming order statuses, and updating the system accordingly.
3. Resolving general customer queries regarding delivery issues and dates, using the in-house system.
4. Providing delivery confirmation to customers, including proof of delivery when required.
5. Maintaining excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with customers and suppliers.
6. Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
7. Excellent written and verbal English skills.
