Electrical Maintenance Engineer | £45,842 + Benefits | 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) | Pontefract
Shifts: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights
Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge with a leading manufacturer? We’re working with a well-established and forward-thinking business in Pontefract that’s looking to grow its maintenance team with immediate effect.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operation of all production equipment by carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Carry out electrical PPM and breakdown maintenance using the CMMS system
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies
* Prioritise maintenance tasks and breakdowns alongside your team
* Provide cover during team absences (sickness/holidays)
* Support wider maintenance activities as required
* Highlight faults, inefficiencies, or safety concerns proactively
What You’ll Bring:
* Electrically qualified to NVQ/ONC Level or equivalent (minimum requirement)
* Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing setting
* Confident with PPM routines, reactive maintenance, and fault finding
* Experience with PLC fault finding (preferred)
* Familiarity with CMMS platforms
* Adaptable, proactive, and a great team player
