Job Description:
We are seeking a kind, caring, and motivated Head of Hospitality to join our team at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre. The role involves organizing Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include managing dining room setup, cleanliness, meal service, team leadership, rota management, training, and supervision.
The position offers a 40-hour contract with an hourly rate of £12.44. Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekends off.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Ensure high standards of hospitality service.
2. Support and assist visitors.
3. Communicate any resident requirements to the Chef.
4. Follow cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures.
5. Ensure training adherence and proper record keeping.
6. Manage and supervise the hospitality team, ensuring quality care.
7. Coach and develop staff.
8. Promote safeguarding and welfare of adults.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Experience as a Dining or Restaurant Supervisor is essential.
2. Experience in a care setting is desirable.
3. Effective communication skills are essential.
4. Participation in home-organized activities is required.
