Job Description:
Our client, a reputable Midlands-based full service firm, is currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to provide effective support to their Conveyancing Team.
Duties:
1. Providing full support to the Conveyancing Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.
2. Preparing correspondence using case management system.
3. Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person.
4. Administering filing systems, including daily filing and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files.
5. Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch.
6. Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork.
7. Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required.
8. Having excellent knowledge and experience within Residential Conveyancing.
9. Demonstrating initiative and the ability to undertake searches, ID checks, and other work on files without dictation.
10. Possessing high levels of speed and accuracy.
11. Having a good telephone manner and being comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
12. Being highly organized, methodical, and adaptable.
