Position Summary
As a Bridal Stylist at Emily Bridalwear, you will play a central role in guiding brides through one of the most important decisions of their lives. This is not just sales, it is about active listening, relationship building, and creating an experience where every bride feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
We are a small, passionate team that cares deeply about our brides and about each other. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is willing to learn, and isn't afraid to step outside their comfort zone to grow.
This position is maternity cover initially, but for the right candidate who demonstrates their skillset and drive, it will become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver an exceptional bridal experience from first appointment to purchase.
* Support brides in making confident, informed decisions with care and empathy.
* Build strong relationships through active listening, trust, and honest advice.
* Drive sales by meeting and exceeding personal and boutique targets.
* Maintain the boutique's high presentation standards, ensuring a welcoming environment.
* Participate fully in training and role play to continuously develop skills.
* Work collaboratively with the team, stepping up to support wherever needed.
Person Specification
* Warm, approachable, and able to build instant rapport.
* Motivated, resilient, and confident in a sales-driven environment.
* Not afraid to push yourself, learn quickly, and adapt to new situations.
* Strong communicator with excellent listening skills.
* Experience in sales, retail, or customer service preferred, but transferable skills and the right mindset are just as important.

The Offer
* Full-time role (35–39 hours per week).
* Suggested working days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
* Must be able to work every Saturday and some Sundays when the diary demands.
* £12.21 per hour (equivalent to £24,000–£26,000 per year).
* Uncapped commission, typically £6,000–£14,400 per year on top, with no upper limit.
* Comprehensive training in bridal styling and sales.
