Overview
Do you want to be at the forefront of transforming clinical pharmacy? We are creating innovative pathways to develop clinical leaders and are looking for motivated pharmacists to join our expanding team. Posts will be cross-sector, combining a role in GP practices with hospital wards/departments, with future opportunities to review sector-specific roles. These posts are patient-centred and provide opportunities to develop clinical and technical skills in practice.
You will receive support from an educational supervisor and the wider pharmacy team, as well as peer support from other Foundation pharmacists. Successful applicants will be supported to complete the RPS Post Registration Foundation Training programme, which equips pharmacists with a broad range of core skills via learning outcomes to become clinical practitioners. The course is inclusive of the independent prescribing qualification.
93% of staff on training programmes received study time and 100% had regular meetings with their educational supervisor within the agreed frequency.
