GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group is looking for a Senior Programme Lead who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.


Purpose of this role

Lead and manage a team of Programme Leads, ensuring high-quality delivery of post-award programmes within agreed timescales. Support the team to provide technical and administrative support for a dedicated GTC region, working closely with the Senior Project Manager to deliver seamless, customer-focused solutions.


Your Key Responsibilities

* Leadership & Team Development: Provide day-to-day line management, guidance, and support to Programme Leads.
* Work collaboratively with the Senior Project Manager and Nominated Designer to deliver a smooth post-award process.
* Set clear objectives, performance standards, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of new team members.
* Develop individual training plans to enhance team competence and performance.
* Communicate and lead change effectively across the team.
* Approve BOQs and POs relevant to programme delivery.


Reporting & Data Management

* Produce accurate and timely progress reports for regional post-award projects.
* Maintain and improve data accuracy in line with business requirements.
* Create and manage reports to support decision-making and operational efficiency.


Collaboration & Problem Solving

* Act as a point of escalation for issues, liaising with customers and internal teams to resolve queries quickly.
* Support Post Award and Design Management teams with day-to-day activities.
* Ensure all data is entered accurately and promptly into GTC systems.
* Continuously review and refine processes to achieve best practice.
* Deliver on commitments made to customers, ensuring service standards are met.


Qualifications

Undertake any other duties as required by your manager

To hold a Management Qualification ILM or equivalent or be willing to work towards gaining a qualification.


Experience / Knowledge

* Experience in administration tasks in an office environment is essential.
* Ability to prioritise workload effectively and efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills with external and internal customers/colleagues.


Abilities / Skills

* Ability to use Microsoft Office programs or equivalent.
* Ability to manage workload and ensure deadlines are met.
* Remains calm under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and numerate.
* Customer Focus – Delivers a consistently high-quality service to external and internal customers.


Desirable

* Be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and above.
* Working towards Eng Tech accreditation with a recognised institution.
* GIS knowledge.
