This is an exciting opportunity for a band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our integrated health and social care OT team. This post will be based within the hospital providing care to inpatients and also in the community.
You will work closely with the wider Lochaber Occupational Therapy Team, providing high quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention plans, demonstrating complex clinical decision-making skills, monitoring, and improving professional standards. Experience in Stroke rehabilitation inpatient and in the community for patients and carers would be preferable.
You will be expected to act independently to provide a full comprehensive service of assessment, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral, and discharge to a complex range of patients referred to the service.
You will work within a multidisciplinary Team and have opportunities to supervise Occupational Therapy staff. Regular supervision is provided (including peer supervision opportunities) and opportunities for ongoing professional development are encouraged.
A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is required as is current HCPC registration.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations and patient residences, so a full current driving license is essential.
