Overview
We are looking for a Shift Manager to join our Resort Safety Team.
About The Role
You will carry out tasks on shift to ensure that the allocation of team is complete to ensure the maximum positive impact on guest experience in our venues, build and develop a positive relationship with the guests. You will support the team members during the shift to ensure that their workload is manageable, giving support when necessary and feeding back to Resort Safety Managers the areas of improvement, reviewing guest feedback supplied to them to understand areas in which our guests would value improvement. You will carry out individual team member PDPs and coach and support the team during tasks to ensure we have a highly trained and fulfilled team. Your role ensures compliance with relevant legislation, company Fire, SIA, Licensing and health & safety policies within your area of responsibility and help others to challenge themselves to innovate in any areas that will help the results of the business. You will also drive team selection, recruitment, and retention with an emphasis on wellbeing.

Responsibilities
* Support shift operations to ensure effective allocation of the team and maximize guest experience.
* Develop positive relationships with guests and provide leadership on the floor.
* Support team members during shifts to manage workload and provide feedback to Resort Safety Managers on areas for improvement.
* Review guest feedback to identify areas where guests would value improvements.
* Carry out individual team member PDPs and coach the team to maintain a highly trained and engaged workforce.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies (Fire, SIA, Licensing, health & safety) within your area of responsibility.
* Drive team selection, recruitment, and retention with an emphasis on wellbeing.
Working Hours
Typical working hours: 40 hours per week, four-on-four off shift pattern including weekends. Shifts times typically cover 8am–8pm or 8pm–8am; flexibility may be required. This is a permanent role, paid monthly.
About You
* Experienced leader from within a security or safety environment who can support the team to deliver excellent service.
* Experience in training and coaching in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellent guest experience.
* Experience leading teams within a busy security or safety environment where quality and safety are balanced.
* Confident to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards.
* Strong leadership skills to inspire and engage the team, even under high demand, and to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to lead, motivate and engage your team to deliver excellent results for our teams and guests every day.
* Valid SIA license is essential.
