About The Role
This role involves working on a shift pattern of 3 shifts on, 3 shifts off, from 10am to 3pm.
As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. In this role, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents, assist the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encourage socialization and engagement based on Residents' hobbies. Your approach should always be grounded in kindness.
We are seeking someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in developing activity programs. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning, organizational, and IT skills are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, know how to respond, and attend relevant safeguarding training. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
