The RoleThis is a hands-on engineering role where a flair for design is as important as what you can build. You will work closely alongside the company's front-end lead... a highly respected engineer who has shaped the product from the ground up and whose eye for UX sets the standard across the business. Over time, this is a role where you become their right hand: absorbing how they think, learning the product inside out, and gradually taking on more ownership of front-end and UX direction. You will own features end to end, from database to interface, and make considered decisions about how things should look and behave, not just how they should function. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and ship production Blazor applications, owning features from interaction design through to deploymentDrive front-end standards, component libraries, and design conventions the wider team can rely onMake and defend design decisions, balancing usability, accessibility, and engineering pragmatismPartner with the front-end lead on architectural direction for the user interface, with a view to taking on greater ownership over timeContribute to back-end work where required, including data access, APIs, and cloud integrationsConfigure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing to support reliable deliveryMentor engineers on front-end and UX, raising the team's collective capabilityIdentify and act on opportunities to improve development practices, tooling, and code health What You'll Need Essential:Commercial experience building web applications with C# and .NETProduction Blazor experience, or strong equivalent in a component-based framework (React, Vue, or Angular)A genuine flair for design and UX, with work you can point to that shows it... layout, hierarchy, spacing, and interaction are part of how you think, not an afterthoughtStrong SQL skills and experience with relational databasesComfortable working with Microsoft Azure and CI/CD practicesAn open, curious attitude towards AI tools and how they can improve the way you workStrong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders Desirable / Nice to Have:Familiarity with Figma or Sketch and experience working directly from designsUnderstanding of WCAG accessibility standardsB2B SaaS background, ideally in a domain-specific product Why Apply?£ salaryFully remote workingWork directly alongside one of the best front-end minds in the business and absorb years of hard-won product knowledgeA clear and genuine path to owning front-end and UX direction as the business scalesWork on products used by thousands of businesses every dayCollaborative, engineering-led culture where quality and design craft are genuinely valued Next StepsIf this sounds like the right move, get in touch with Chanel directly.
