 
        Senior Quantity Surveyor Industrial & Logistics Main Contractor Location: Chichester Salary: £60,000 £80,000 10% car allowance benefits A leading main contractor in the industrial and logistics sector is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Chichester. This is an opportunity to work on major new-build and technical industrial schemes, delivering high-quality projects while leading commercial functions from procurement through to final accounts. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of commercial delivery across multiple industrial and logistics projects, ensuring strong financial performance, robust cost control, and best-value procurement. You will work closely with operational teams, supply chain partners, and client representatives to safeguard commercial interests, ensure contractual compliance, and support successful project delivery from pre-construction to handover. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial delivery across multiple projects, ensuring best value and contractual compliance Manage procurement, tendering and subcontractor packages; assess quotations and mitigate commercial risk Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations and final accounts Review subcontractor applications and certify payments in line with agreed schedules Maintain accurate cost reporting, cashflow forecasting and commercial documentation Ensure all supply chain contracts, insurance, warranties and bonds are in place before works commence Collaborate with site teams to support delivery and ensure commercial awareness Liaise with accounts and clients to ensure timely payment and resolution of queries Provide commercial insight to senior management and support bid/tender activity where required Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and environmental compliance About You Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience Proven commercial experience within main contracting Track record working on industrial, logistics or large commercial projects (typically £10m) Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential); experience with COINS or similar desirable Ability to manage multiple projects and work autonomously Whats on Offer £60,000 £80,000 base salary 10% car allowance Comprehensive benefits package Career development with a growing contractor delivering high-value technical industrial projects Apply Today If you are a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking to work on industry-leading industrial and logistics schemes, please submit your CV to be considered.
