About the roleAs a technician 3 to join our growing Configuration team, responsible for providing efficient IT configuration services. The ideal candidate will bepetent atponent level, self-sufficient, and able to manage workloads within set timelines.Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PMLocation: City Centre 8 Surrey Street – NorwichContract Duration: 1 Month
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Perform Windows 11 upgrades on laptops/desktops per project schedule
2. Verify hardwarepatibility before upgrade
3. Configure user profiles, apps, and network settings post-deployment
4. Provide onsite/remote support during and after migration
5. Troubleshoot OS, driver, and application issues
6. Escalate unresolved technical problems appropriately
7. Update deployment records in workflow systems
8. Documentpleted upgrades and user handovers
9. Support inventory tracking and device logistics
10. Follow IT policies, security protocols, and deployment standards
11. Keep workspace organised and safe during onsite work
Other stuff we’re potentially looking for: Proven experience with Windows 10/11 deployments or OS migration projects. Familiarity with tools such as SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, or MDT. Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
