Customer Service Assistant Luxury Retail Based: North London Daily Rate: £127 £135 (plus holiday pay) - equivalent to circa £33K to £35K Details: 6-month temping assignment with possibility of extension Our client, part of a leading luxury retail group, is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join their Customer Service Centre in North London. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you will be an integral part of a busy team, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of luxury repair enquiries. We are specifically looking for someone with previous experience in the luxury retail sector. You will understand the high standards required and be comfortable acting as a key point of contact for clients. The Role This is a full-time temping assignment of 37.5 hours per week, centred around providing outstanding support to clients regarding their repairs. You will be responsible for: Communication & Support: Providing top-tier customer service via phone and email. You must be comfortable handling high volumes of emails and providing timely, professional responses. Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of customer enquiries and technical repair issues with a high degree of accuracy and empathy. Systems & Admin: Accurately documenting all interactions in the relevant systems (SAP and MS Office) and working closely with the workshop and admin teams to ensure a seamless process. Team Collaboration: Working as a reliable team player with a "can-do" attitude to meet daily deadlines and maintain positive relationships across various brands. Skills & Experience: Luxury Background: Previous experience within a luxury retail or high-end operations/office environment is essential. Client-Facing Skills: Experience in a role that involves handling a high volume of client communication (both calls and emails) is a must. Confident with Systems: You must be computer literate (MS Office, Excel, Outlook). Experience with SAP is a significant benefit, though training will be provided. Attention to Detail: An analytical mind and the ability to follow complex procedures correctly. Reliability: You must be able to take personal ownership of tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information Hours: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week). Office hours are typically 9:00 am 5:30 pm, however, the team is flexible and tends to start between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. This early start works well for the department and is the preferred pattern. Background Checks: Due to the nature of the products, the successful candidate will be subject to a comprehensive pre-employment screening process. Timeline: We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible (on no more than a week's notice), allowing approximately two weeks for background checks to be completed.
