A market-leading technology business, part of a listed PLC group (c.£40m turnover, finance team of five), is looking to appoint a Finance Director to join its Executive Management Team.
* Immediate interim requirement (3 months+) to provide leadership cover
* Permanent role for long-term ownership
Operating across the UK, US, and Germany, this is a high-impact role partnering closely with the CEO and Group CFO. This role would suit a first-time Finance Director or an experienced Financial Controller looking to step up.
The Role
* Strategic partner to the CEO and Group CFO
* Lead financial planning, reporting, and performance across international operations
* Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management accounts
* Drive financial and operational performance
* Oversee ERP, systems, and process improvements
* Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance
* Lead and develop the finance team
* Support Group initiatives, including M&A
About You
* Senior finance leader within technology, software, or advanced engineering
* Experience in multi-entity, international environments
* Strong technical grounding (IFRS, UK GAAP, tax)
* Experience with ERP systems and driving improvements
* Exposure to R&D accounting and cost control
* Confident operating at Exec level
