Job Description:
We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to be the heart of our operation for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week. This role is contracted for 43.8 weeks per year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
* Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
* Ensuring proper use of all machinery and equipment
* Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
* Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
* Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
* Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
* Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively
* Being an excellent team player
* Having a committed, organized approach and a desire to succeed
* Working flexibly shifts and demonstrating reliability
