Maternity Cover - construction lawyer
12 months FTC
Birmingham based HQ - but remote working available with occasional office attendance
Full time or part time (3 / 4 days per week)
An opportunity has arisen for a construction lawyer to join a global organisation where you will lead on construction a range of non-contentious areas.
Our client is an innovative cutting-edge business in the building and construction sector, working across a variety of landscapes including residential and commercial development, infrastructure, education and healthcare, both in the UK and internationally.
This long-established business, with a successful and mature legal team, has a need for an experienced lawyer for 12 months to cover maternity leave for one of the team.
It is anticipated that the role will involve primarily involve leading on non-contentious construction contracts as well as supporting on broader areas such as commercial agreements, training, insurance and compliance areas.
We are keen to hear from lawyers with a good level of experience in construction, with at least 5PQE, so you are able to take a leading role in the strategic handling of the business’s risk and on-going contentious matters. Any experience in broader commercial areas is a bonus but we are also keen to hear from anyone looking to up-skill in this area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would enjoy working in a friendly established team of an international business.
Part time or full time working patterns will be considered.
