Vehicle Technician – Main Dealer
1. Location: Kidderminster
2. Salary: Up to £36,000 basic (DOE) | OTE £40,000
3. Hours: 8 hours per day Monday–Friday between 7:30am–6:00pm
4. Saturdays: 1 in 4, 8:00am–1:00pm (paid at time and a half)
5. Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays (rising with service)
Our client, a successful and well-established main dealer in the Kidderminster area, is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional workshop team.

They are ideally seeking someone confident with more complex mechanical work (such as wet belts and major repairs), although this is not essential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities as the new Vehicle Technician:
6. Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles
7. Carry out diagnostics and fault finding
8. Complete larger mechanical jobs when required (e.g. wet belts)
9. Perform vehicle health checks and report additional work
10. Work efficiently to meet workshop targets
11. Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
12. Maintain accurate job records and documentation
Requirements needed for this Vehicle Technician role:
13. Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
14. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or busy workshop
15. MOT Tester licence highly desirable (or willingness to gain)
16. Ability to carry out more involved mechanical repairs preferred
17. Strong team player with the ability to work independently
18. Full UK driving licence
