Core Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5:00pm, Fri 8:30am-2:00pm
Job Description
My client are seeking a proactive and versatile Field Service Engineer to support a wide range of customer-focused service activities, both in the UK and internationally. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, technical problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer support across service, commissioning, calibration, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out service, calibration, commissioning, and customer training, both in the UK and overseas
* Support the fulfilment of customer contracts and ongoing service agreements
* Assist in achieving annual service department targets in line with business objectives
* Prepare accurate quotations for spares and additional service work following site visits
* Work closely with the spares engineer to maintain up-to-date and accurate project spares lists
* Assist in the pre-delivery inspection and testing of equipment and control panels
* Provide clear feedback from site visits to internal departments to support continuous improvement
Requirements:
* Electrical biased or Multi-skilled Engineers
* Experience in field service, commissioning, or calibration roles (multi-sector experience is a bonus)
* Strong communication skills and ability to represent the business professionally on-site
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
* Flexibility and willingness to travel in the UK and abroad
