We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000, depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Build and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and visualisations using Power BI and related tools
* Work closely with Data Engineers and subject matter experts to design and optimise data architecture across Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL and Python-based workflows
* Translate business needs into user stories and BI requirements, collaborating with stakeholders across functions
* Create, refine and maintain semantic models, data dictionaries, and reusable data assets that support consistent and scalable analytics
* Troubleshoot BI issues, support end users, and ensure reporting remains accurate, secure, and aligned with data governance best practices
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in BI development, with strong hands-on capability in Power BI Desktop/Service or similar BI tools
* Solid technical foundation in SQL or Python, and an understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, medallion architectures, or data warehousing concepts
* Ability to communicate complex ideas simply, working effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* A proactive, curious mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail
* A collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge, influence, and support teams in adopting BI best practices
