Overview
We are seeking four experienced and committed Non‑Executive Directors to join North Star’s Board and help shape the organisation’s strategic direction.
Responsibilities
* Provide insight, challenge and support to ensure North Star delivers on its mission and remains financially sustainable, innovative and responsive to the communities it serves.
* Steer long‑term plans, oversee performance and uphold the highest standards of governance and regulatory compliance.
* Hold the organisation to account while supporting the executive team to succeed.
* Contribute to the governance of service delivery, ensuring exceptional outcomes for tenants, new home development and investment in people and places.
Qualifications
* Senior leadership experience with a strategic insight in Finance, Governance, Social Housing, People, Data & Tech, or Customer Experience.
* Strong governance acumen to ensure accountability across the organisation.
* Ability to provide constructive challenge while working collaboratively within a board team.
* Commitment to social purpose, equality, diversity and inclusion.
