Job Description:
Harris Hill is working with a leading children's charity to recruit a Community Fundraiser - North Wales and Welsh Borders. The role involves supporting and stewarding existing volunteer networks, developing new relationships, and establishing new fundraising groups in North Wales and the Welsh Borders.
While primarily home-based, the successful candidate will need to travel across Wales (expenses covered), and occasionally to other parts of the country for team meetings, training, and support.
As a Community Fundraiser, you will:
* Be accountable for delivering a fundraising budget and increasing income to support the charity's work.
* Develop relationships with supporters, delivering high-quality stewardship and engagement to retain and grow volunteer groups.
* Identify opportunities to recruit and onboard new volunteers and fundraising groups.
* Research and manage a pipeline of potential corporate supporters.
* Represent the charity at events and meetings.
To be successful, you should have:
* Experience in developing relationships to achieve results in fundraising or income generation.
* Strong ability to lead and manage relationships with individuals and organizations.
* Excellent communication skills for delivering pitches and updates confidently.
* Ability to plan and execute projects/events within deadlines, managing conflicting priorities.
Salary: £26,888 – 33,801 per annum including home allowance.
Contract: Permanent
