The Dudley, MA facility hosts Operations, Global Lens Engineering, and R&D teams dedicated to developing and manufacturing semi-finished polycarbonate lenses for premium markets, along with coatings, inks, and other innovative products.

GENERAL FUNCTION
The EHS Manager will develop, recommend, and implement EHS policies and procedures across the Dudley campus (Manufacturing, Engineering & Staff) to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The manager partners with site leadership to foster an EHS culture emphasizing safety, compliance, and employee engagement.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop, recommend, and implement programs to ensure compliance with EHS regulations, including training and documentation.
2. Promote continuous improvement in EHS performance and compliance, fostering an ownership culture.
3. Monitor and analyze environmental, health, and safety metrics to support leadership and develop budgets.
4. Manage Worker’s Compensation claims and collaborate with the Corporate Risk Management team.
5. Maintain records and submit reports for OSHA, BLS, environmental agencies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
6. Understand federal and Massachusetts-specific requirements for air quality, wastewater, and hazardous waste management.
7. Lead risk assessments for projects, identify EHS impacts, and develop mitigation plans.
8. Use PDCA tools to track actions, solve problems, and manage change effectively.
9. Provide EHS expertise and support to leaders and staff.
10. Establish relationships with local, state, and federal agencies and represent the company in resolving issues.
11. Collaborate on new product and process introductions with EHS considerations.
12. Partner with corporate EHS teams to align policies and share best practices.
13. Develop and implement EHS programs such as Ergonomics, LOTO, hazardous materials/waste, air quality, and wastewater management.
14. Manage OSHA and environmental recordkeeping and reporting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in chemical, safety/environmental management, engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of manufacturing experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online EHS reporting tools
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
* Experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHMM are a plus
