Job Title: Senior Representative - Inside Sales
As a Senior Representative - Inside Sales, you will interact with existing customers to increase sales of the company's products and/or services. Your responsibilities include obtaining, creating, and up-selling orders, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adding value to the buying experience. You will manage a portfolio of larger, more complex accounts and be proficient in all aspects of the inside sales process, focusing on proactive selling techniques to expand current accounts. Collaboration with outside sales teams is essential to meet shared goals.
Responsibilities
1. Meet and exceed performance metrics related to volume, profitability, market penetration, and efficiency objectives.
2. Market products and offer value-added services.
3. Develop strong business relationships within existing accounts and prospect for new opportunities.
4. Own, qualify, and develop opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
5. Stay informed about new products and share competitive knowledge.
6. Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
7. Potentially lead other Inside Sales Representatives regarding processes, systems, and customer management.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
* In-depth knowledge and experience in Sales and Sales Administration (4-5 years).
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Demonstrated professionalism and competency in a sales environment.
* Ability to multitask effectively.
* Teamwork skills and ability to mentor or coach team members.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to prospect and market concepts to both existing and potential new accounts.
* Problem-solving skills with good judgment and understanding of issues.
* Ability to resolve complex problems using existing solutions and innovative thinking.
* Work independently with minimal supervision.
* Preferred experience in electrical or distribution sales environments.
* Willingness to travel 0-25%.
