The Role of laser operator: As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components. Youll be working with a variety of materials and gauges, ensuring every cut meets our rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities of a laser operator:
Set and operate CO2 or Fiber laser machines (e.g., Bystronic, Amada, or Trumpf).
Load and unload materials safely using overhead cranes or forklifts.
Perform first-off inspections using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
Monitor machine performance and perform basic maintenance (nozzle changes, lens cleaning).
Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to all Health & Safety protocols.

Experience: Proven background in CNC Laser Cutting (essential).
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a dedicated night shift.
