Job Title: Water Network Engineer
Salary: Up to £45,000
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Walsall / Travel required

The Role:
As a Water Network Engineer, you will provide leadership to their cross-regional risk management team on the water network, including both strategic and distribution systems. You will implement processes to assess and mitigate supply interruption risks during network interventions and promote, influence, and deliver change in working practices and processes.
Critical Performance Objectives:
* Deliver maximum reward for their supply interruption ODI
* Delivery of strategic authorized operations for network work
* Promote positive employee engagement
* Manage budgets for operational and capital expenditure
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to company values: Professional, Trusted, Impactful, Community Focused
* Ensure compliance and operate with integrity
* Manage team health and safety performance
* Handle regulatory reporting (Supply interruptions, DG2)
* Manage risk mitigation during network interventions
* Oversee mains cleaning programs (PODDS)
* Identify process improvements
* Support network design and installation for efficiency and customer impact reduction
* Maintain and improve technical skills matrix
* Support incident management procedures
Requirements:
* Dynamic, collaborative communicator with influencing skills
* Understanding of hydraulic principles and water network management (desirable)
* Experience engaging stakeholders
* Excellent report writing and proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
* Experience with hydraulic software modeling
* Full UK driving license
Qualifications:
* Civil or Environmental Engineering degree
* IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
