The right candidate will have:

* QTS and experience teaching the National Curriculum in a primary school
* Drive, determination and a passion for working with children and their families.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a large staff team.
* A positive outlook and a resilient nature.
* A commitment to developing their own, and others, practice as part of a team.
* Knowledge and understanding of children with complex SEND.

Middle Leader role in Maths

If applying for the Middle Leader role in Maths, the right candidate will also have:

* Experience leading a subject across a primary school, including curriculum, teaching and attainment
* Knowledge and skills in monitoring standards and supporting colleagues
* Drive to implement strategies to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics across all year groups

What the school offers its staff

We can offer you:

* Plenty of opportunities for professional development, within our school and our Trust.
* An individual CPD pathway, to develop practice, and help you reach the next stage in your career.
* An opportunity to work in a charitable organisation that is focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged children.
* A competitive salary, a popular benefits and rewards programme.
* The opportunity to work as part of a supportive team of staff, working with our incredible children.

As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities and training e.g. NPQS, better pay, additional benefits and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing. Our academies each have at least eight INSET days per year and an ongoing group-wide wellbeing programme and cash health plan. It is an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’. United Rewards, covering lifestyle and retail benefits include childcare vouchers, car lease scheme, cycle to work etc.

What our staff team say is the best thing about working at Windale

* “We have an amazing team of staff, who are always committed and professional. The children are fantastic and fully engage with learning, trying to be the best they can be.”
* “The CPD, the career growth opportunities and the children themselves. The incredible effort being made by absolutely everyone who works here to make the school the very best it can be.”
* “The colleagues I work with are hard-working, motivated and give everything they can to their role. Staff are happy to come to work and enjoy spending time with the children. They work hard and there is a culture of sharing successes”.
* “That I have the best ability to teach and support children in their everyday learning. It is also a great school to work in and a good team.”

Further details about the role

From September, we are looking to employ a class teacher to join our team of fantastic staff, transforming education for our amazing children. There is also the possibility of taking on the role of Maths Subject Leader (which has a TLR2 attached and half a day release time per fortnight).

You may be early on in your career, or you may be more experienced. You should have the drive for high-quality teaching and learning and want to be part of working in a school that sits at the heart of its community.
