We’re currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large Primary School in Oldham on a long term basis starting ASAP
You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on inclusion and wellbeing of their students and the community.

Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups, responding to their individual needs
2. Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
3. Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
4. Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
5. Recent experience working in a school or education setting
6. Solid numeracy and literacy skills
7. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience
8. Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team
9. Experience of supporting students with SEND needs
10. Good behaviour Managment skills
