The role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Assistant on behalf of our client. Our client is an established commercial cleaning contractor who has been steadily growing over the last 25 years.
Due to retirement, our client is looking for someone to join their friendly and busy finance department.
Duties & Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:
* Producing monthly invoices
* Credit Control
* Debtors ADR
* Payment Allocations
* Supporting and liaising directly with clients
About you/Experience Required:
* Previous experience in accounts - essential
* Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in excel/data entry and record keeping
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
